2. Scope
These Terms apply to your use of this website. By using the website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
These Terms do not govern any consulting or software development services. Those are governed by a separate agreement, as described below.
3. Purpose of the website
This website:
- presents my professional experience, skills and the types of services I provide;
- presents selected projects I have worked on;
- allows a prospective client to contact me and start a conversation.
The website provides no checkout, ordering system, account registration or payment functionality, and services cannot be booked through it.
4. No contract is formed through the website
Viewing the website, contacting me, or sending an inquiry does not by itself create a client–consultant relationship or a contract for services.
The information published here, including any description of services, is provided for information purposes only. It is not an offer within the meaning of Article 66 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code, and it is not a binding commitment to provide services on any particular terms.
A contract arises only once its terms have been separately agreed between the parties in writing.
5. Professional services
Where cooperation is agreed, the terms of the specific project are set out in a separate agreement, proposal, statement of work or other written arrangement. Such terms cover, as applicable:
- scope of work and deliverables;
- fees and payment terms;
- timelines and deadlines;
- intellectual property rights;
- confidentiality;
- warranties;
- support and maintenance;
- liability;
- termination.
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and such a separate agreement, the separate agreement prevails in relation to the project it covers.
6. Intellectual property
Unless indicated otherwise, the content of this website — the original texts, the design and layout, the graphics and icons, the presentation of the portfolio and the underlying original code — is protected by copyright and belongs to me.
You may view the website and quote short fragments with clear attribution and a link to the source. Copying, reproducing or reusing the content, in whole or in substantial part, for commercial purposes or in order to create a competing presentation, requires my prior written consent.
The portfolio refers to projects carried out for or together with other organisations. The names, trade marks, logos, screenshots and other materials of those organisations remain the property of their respective owners and appear here only to describe my involvement. The same applies to the names and marks of third-party technologies mentioned on the website. Nothing here should be read as a claim of ownership of those materials, or as an endorsement by their owners.
If you are a rights holder and believe that material published here should be corrected or removed, please write to me and I will address it promptly.
7. Acceptable use
When using the website, please do not:
- use it for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected systems;
- interfere with the operation of the website, including by introducing malicious code;
- carry out security testing, scanning or attacks without my prior written permission;
- place an excessive automated load on the website, for example through aggressive scraping or automated requests;
- use the content of the website beyond what is described in the section on intellectual property.
8. Accuracy of information
I try to keep the portfolio accurate and up to date. Even so, the information may change, may be incomplete or simplified, and project descriptions are limited by confidentiality obligations towards clients.
Nothing on this website is a guarantee of availability, capacity, results, or of any particular terms for a future project.
9. Availability
The website is made available in the form in which it is provided. I do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The website may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond my control, and it may be changed or discontinued at any time.
10. Links to other websites
The website contains links to websites operated by others. Those websites are not under my control, and I am not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following such a link is at your own discretion.
11. Liability
This section concerns the use of this informational website only.
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on the general information published here, where such damage does not result from a failure on my part to exercise due care.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by mandatory law — in particular liability for damage caused intentionally, liability for harm to life or health, and any liability owed to consumers under mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
Liability in connection with a specific paid engagement is not covered by these Terms. It is governed by the separate agreement concluded for that project.
12. Personal data
Information about how personal data is processed in connection with this website is set out in the Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Polish law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of the protection afforded to them by mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence.
Disputes will primarily be resolved amicably. If that is not possible, they will be settled by the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law.
14. Changes
These Terms may be updated, for example when the website or its scope changes. The current version is always published on this page and applies to use of the website from the date of publication.
