Kwizie
Interactive video assessment
Full-stack Developer · AI / EdTech
EdTech product that turns video and other unstructured content into quizzes, answers, and metadata — publicly positioned as in-video assessment, certificates, and embeddable training.
01What I built
Designed client-side and server-side application architecture and built nested product UI, APIs, and PostgreSQL persistence for Kwizie during the Anadea engagement. The named model pipeline that drafts questions, and who owned it, is not published — application-layer work around that product step is.
- Client-side and server-side application architecture
- Nested product UI with dependent assessment logic
- NestJS APIs and PostgreSQL persistence on AWS
02Engineering proof
- React product UI with NestJS APIs and PostgreSQL
- Nested UI logic for assessment flows
- Anadea-period delivery; ownership split with Nordic Learning Platform is unpublished
04Problem
Lecture-length video and other unstructured media had to become structured quizzes and metadata through a production client/server path, not hand-authored assessments sitting next to the video.
05Scale & constraints
- Unstructured video as the primary source
- Client and server in one AWS-hosted product
- Nested UI logic and dependencies
- Same Anadea period as Nordic Learning Platform — which surfaces were Kwizie-only is not published
06Outcome
A production React / NestJS / PostgreSQL path from unstructured content to quizzes and metadata. Not claimed as sole platform ownership, and public trainer-count marketing figures are not used as personal impact.
- Production client/server path for generated quizzes and metadata
- Typed application layer around the assessment product
07Stack
- TypeScript
- React
- Redux
- Styled Components
- Formik
- NestJS
- PostgreSQL
